Fashion design has the power to change lives and create a sustainable future. Fashion is an industry, but also culture, social relations and the embodiment of identity. At QUT, our students use fashion design, business and communication to connect with consumers that share their values and transform the industry sustainably, while also transforming culture, economy and society. We encourage every student to develop their personal interests and identities. Our students work with Australian Aboriginal communities and sustainable practices, in the pursuit of inclusiveness. The work exhibited represents these values along with the application of innovative practices and solutions for an environmentally friendly fashion.
