Lantana

Lantana’ is a collection based around the duality of organic forms and architectural structures and how they interlink. Drawing inspiration from retro organic architecture. This collection is experimental practices of creating organic shapes/ silhouettes using structural materials techniques and manipulations. Contrasting the structural materials/ techniques with organic textures, such as crochet. Hand beaded elements, repurposed vintage laces and textural knits to create a sense of luxury and beauty.

My name is Keiarni Isackson and I was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, QLD by a family of creatives. Growing up we were inspired by music, art and fashion to encourage our journey into finding personal individualism. I draw most of my creative inspiration from the wonders of the 1970s and organic forms, translating through my work in colours, textures and story telling. I view fashion than more than just an item of clothing, but a tale that shows the past, present and future.
