"Return to Your Roots" is all about exploring the connection I have with my home property in rural Queensland. I explore the natural landscapes that I grew up in and take inspiration from the feelings they provoke to translate into naturally dyed, and nostalgic silhouettes.
Lucy, founder of L by Mantova, is a passionate designer who focuses on exploring the natural landscapes of rural Queensland as the main inspiration behind her design work, with a special focus on using natural fibres, dyes and shapes. Growing up on a farm, she developed a deep appreciation for the rawness of living in the country, and the inability to replicate the natural environment. Therefore, she aims to pay homage to Australia's environment through her design practices.
