Of Gold collection delves into the origin of the last name Dore, meaning ‘of gold’. The last name Dore originates from the Huguenots. They were highly skilled crafts people specialising in flower prints, embroidery, gold smithing and silk weaving. This collection uses these elements as well as recycled denim elements to give a modern and sustainable feel.

Juliana Dore will be graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Design (Fashion) and Bachelor of Business (Management). She is highly motivated with an eye for detail. She likes to design sustainable, feminine, elegant, and embellished garments. Not only is she a designer but an artist and likes to incorporate paintings into her designs.
